B-21 RAIDER
The B-21 Raider is the United States' first new bomber in over 30 years, designed from the ground up to penetrate the most advanced integrated air defense systems in the world — specifically China's and Russia's A2/AD networks. Built on next-generation stealth technology that surpasses the B-2 Spirit, the B-21 features an open-architecture computing system enabling rapid software updates and AI integration. Its mission set spans nuclear deterrence with the B61-12 and the forthcoming LRSO cruise missile, to conventional deep-strike with JASSM-ER. Northrop Grumman designed the B-21 for optionally-manned operation, enabling autonomous penetration missions. The USAF plans to procure at least 100 aircraft at approximately $692 million each, replacing both the B-1B and B-2 fleets.
